How the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) Works
Lee County buys foreclosed homes in target areas at below the appraised value, then professional contractors transform less than perfect properties into truly good buys. Lee County does not mark up the prices like a regular seller. So, even as the economy improves, these homes are guaranteed to stay affordable.
Better still, the County will provide a soft second mortgage and reasonable closing cost assistance to help subsidize buyer costs.
The NSP Program of Lee County is being administered through the Lee County Department of Human Services under the direction of the Board of County Commissioners.

Lee County has contracted with two local non-profit housing counseling agencies to help walk buyers through the NSP application process. Once you’ve checked the eligibility criteria and reviewed the program steps, simply contact either of these Housing and Urban Development (HUD)-certified agencies at any one of their offices to get started:
